Inspired by the viral dog ear tattoo trend, our Dog or Cat Outline Temporary Tattoos let you “test drive” your ink before you visit the tattoo studio. Turn your pet’s unique ears into a custom line-art temporary tattoo sheet you can share with friends and family.
To customize with your pet’s ears, simply upload a photo using our file uploader. For multiple pets or angles, compress your images into a single ZIP file before uploading. If you run into any issues, you can always email your pet photo(s) to julie@barkleyandwagz.com.
We’ll send a design proof to the email on file for your approval.
How it works
- Choose up to 4 design styles from the charts in the listing
- Email us the design numbers and your preferred tattoo size
- Standard tattoo sizes range from ½" to 3", but we can print up to 8.5" x 11"
Important notes before adding to cart
- Tattoos are sold as a full 8.5" x 11" sheet only – not as single tattoos
- Your sheet will be filled with as many tattoos as we can fit in your chosen size(s)
Design fee information
- If you’ve already had a dog outline design made with us, or you’re buying this tattoo along with another dog outline item, there is no extra design fee
- If we have not yet created an outline for you, there is a $15 design fee
- Once created, you can reuse this design on future orders
After purchase, if we haven’t made your design yet, please email pet photo(s) to us. We’ll send your design proof within 5–7 days for approval.
Application instructions
Each order includes step‑by‑step instructions. The process is simple:
- Cut around your chosen tattoo
- Place it design-side down on clean, dry skin
- Hold a wet cloth over the backing for about 10 seconds
- Gently peel away and enjoy your new temporary ink
Tattoos typically last as long as a standard temporary tattoo.

Tattoos ship within 1–2 weeks via First Class Mail.
